It is the natural man that wants to control.
God does not want to control us. He wants to show us a better way-His way.
Everything he does is motivated by Love.
Moses 7:33 I have given commandment, that they should love one another, and that they should choose me, their Father.
"Missionaries are successful because of the attention that they pay to their work."
It is true about attention. But they are successful because of the Spirit. Their attention allows them more access to the Spirit.
